About Us

MetalRiskManager.com is a completely new concept in managing risk for participants in the metals industry. Our two senior management partners have over forty years experience with metals and related financial software markets. Launched in 2009, MetalRiskManager.com is, we believe, the first on-line service of its kind for this market.

In 2010 Meriman were commissioned by the LME to develop an LME Hedge Accounting training course. The course has been successfully run 5 times in the last six months, to very good reviews.

David Ward

• David Ward has over 25 years experience of the metals business; working initially for leading LME broker Rudolf Wolff in a number of front, middle and back office roles, then with specialist option market makers, Chicago Research and Trading and Tower Commodities. In 1996 David managed the introduction of the LME TAPO for the LME. David joined Brady in 1998 where as business development manager was responsible for the strategic direction and sales effort up until Brady PLC successfully listed on AIM. David left Brady in 2005 for a career break and set up Meriman Ltd in 2009.

David Coxell

• David Coxell has over twenty years experience of risk management in the non ferrous metals business. David has worked as a business and systems analyst with specialities in metals, energy and equity derivatives. David worked predominantly in banking and trading with more than a dozen well known clients. David set up Meriman Ltd in 2009.
