2. Create a CSV file for your positions

Got to the Examples page; view an example and then download the positions.
3. Create a new session
Once you have your CSV file ready, you can create your own "session". Go to the My Portfolio
page, and press the "Add Session" button.
4. Give the session a name
You give the session a name so that you can retrieve it easily in the future. You'll notice that in the
My Portfolio page, there is a table of previous sessions. If you are a regular
user, you can leave your previous sessions available on-line (you can also delete them if you prefer), and
having a name will make it easier to retrieve an old session from this list.
5. Choose the valuation date
You need to choose the valuation date. We load up the closing prices each day, and keep many old
dates available, in particular month ends. if there is a past date that you would like to use, and it isn't
available in the list, please Contact Us and we'll add it for you.
6. Load your CSV file
You are now ready to load your CSV file. Press the "Browse" button; select the file you have created
and press the "Next" button to move to review what you have loaded.
7. Check and confirm your positions
We need you to be happy that you have loaded the correct file and the positions are what you intended.
We also need to warn you of any errors in the load file, and if it exceeds the record count limits
(currently 1000 records). If there are errors, you will need to correct your file and reload before
proceeding. Once you are happy with the positions loaded, you can move to the next step by chacking the
confirmation checkbox and pressing the "Next" button.
8. Choose your analyses
You now choose which analyses you want to run by checking one or more of the available checkboxes.
9. Calculate
You are now read to ask for the calculation to be run. if you are being charged for the calculation,
you will need to be ready to pay with a credit card.
10. View the results
Once the calculation is done, and any payment is cleared, you can view the results. You will be taken
to the screen that views your results automatically after the calculation, but these results are kept for
you and can be viewed at any later date (using the session name as a reference) until you choose to delete them. You can also "Upgrade" the results
by adding extra reports for an extra charge and this can be done at any later date until you choose to delete
the session.
11. Download the results
The screen where you view the results has buttons to download the results, and also to download the position file.
Downloading the position file for our provided Examples is our recommended way to create
your own - By copying and modifying.
